Pat joined the staff of Colonial Baptist Church in June of 1999 as Facilities Administrator.
He graduated from the Naval Aviation Training Command in February 1966. Following this he graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California in 1972 with a BA in International Relations. Also, in 1983 he graduated from Defense Language Institute, Monterey, California with a degree in the German language. During these years he attended numerous leadership, tactical, technical, and administrative schools throughout a Navy career.
Pat has served our country as a Maritime Warfare instructor at the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Hamburg, Germany from 1983 to 1986. He retired as a Commander, U.S. Navy in 1988 after 24 years as a Naval Aviator qualified in 12 different rotary wing, fixed wing, and multi-engine aircraft.
After retirement, Pat served as human resources and operations manager at A & R / Diversified Landscaping from 1989 to 1997 and as human resources manager at Burris Refrigeration from 1997 to 1999.
Pat has also graduated from several Hampton Roads Bible Institute courses and completed the Colonial Discipleship Training at Colonial Baptist Church. He has served many years in the Colonial Baptist Deacon fellowship. He and his wife Patty have two children and four grandchildren.
