Pastor Jim joined the staff of Colonial Baptist Church in 2005.
He earned the Bachelor of Arts in Church Ministries (1989) and Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies (1991) from Bob Jones University and Seminary. He also earned the Doctor of Sacred Ministries from the Graduate Studies Department of Northland Baptist Bible College (2000). He is continuing his studies at Central Baptist Theological Seminary.
Prior to coming to Colonial he served for 6 years as an Associate Pastor of Student Ministries in Richmond , VA , as well as 5 years as a Senior Pastor in North Carolina.
Pastor Jim serves directly under Pastor Daniel, supplementing his pulpit, pastoral and counseling ministries. He also is the Assistant Professor of Christian Ministry and Communication at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Lorie have three children.
