James joined the CBC staff as an Assistant Pastor in 2007. He oversees all areas of Children’s Ministries—AWANA, Children’s Church, Summer programs and Nursery.
James received his Bachelor of Arts in Missions from Northland Baptist Bible College in 2002 and the Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Virginia Beach (2007).
Prior to joining the staff, he had been a member at Colonial for five years, serving in various areas such as Sunday School, AWANA, and Children’s Church. He and his wife Laura married in 2007.
